Supporting Women Entrepreneurs in Lagos

Earlier this year, on International Women’s Day, DevGlobal was proud to partner with Dev-Afrique and Women Impacting Nigeria (WIN) to support women entrepreneurs in Lagos via the AccelerateHer Outreach Program.

 In alignment with the 2025 IWD theme of Accelerate Action, the initiative provided 50 grassroots women entrepreneurs with practical training, mentorship, and micro-grants to grow their businesses. From financial literacy to hands-on skills like bead and soap making, participants gained immediate tools to strengthen their livelihoods and build toward long-term stability.

This work reflects what we believe at both Dev-Afrique and DevGlobal: that gender equity requires consistent and focused action. By investing in women-led businesses, we’re contributing to stronger communities, greater economic independence, and a more equitable future. We’re grateful to WIN for leading the charge and to every woman who showed up with drive, creativity, and purpose.
